| | | What are the qualities that set RIANXEIRA PLUS PRESSURE-COOKED NATURAL TUNA apart? | |
|
| Thanks to its different cooking process, this speciality has nutritional and organoleptic qualities that set it apart from the classic-style cooking.

Firstly, due to the fact that it is cooked directly in the sealed can (the fish is canned raw, whereas in classic cooking it is canned after being boiled or steamed), the product contains all the juice of the tuna, which means that, among other essential nutrients, it contains a higher percentage of water-soluble proteins and is easier to digest.
In the case of omega 3 fatty acids, the difference is even more notable, as the amount present is 3 times higher than that in classic cooking.
With regard to the organoleptic characteristics, it can be clearly seen that it is more compact and has an "al dente" texture. |
| | | How long can the can stay open before the contents are eaten? | |
|
| To enjoy all the flavour and organoleptic characteristics of the product, we recommend it be eaten entirely once the can has been opened. Where not eaten at that time, it is possible to save the contents of the can in a separate container for up to 24 hours in the fridge. |
| | | Should I throw away the liquid in the can? | |

|
| Depends on the filler liquid: if it is oil, up to six years, and four years in water or sauces.

| | | ¿What Omega 3 acids are, and what benefits they provide to us? | |
|
| Omega 3 are and special kind of fat acid, included inside the unsaturated fat group (the most favorable for health) that are found mainly in fishes (blue fish) and soya oil.
They provide considerable benefits to our health, being outstanding between them:
- Reduction of levels "in blood" of cholesterol and triglycerides, and reduction of blood Platelets aggregation, acting in this way as a blocker of coagulations. Studies coverig populations that consume big quantities of Omega 3 have always showed low incidences of ateroesclerosis and cardiovascular diseases.
- Contributes to the good operation of Immnunological System. Limits production of substances that produce irritation, pain and temperature, that occur in certain inflammatory processes. They are essential components of visual receptors (cones and rods). Its presence makes more fluid the covering of this cells, resulting more sensible to light stimuli.
